Yes, the atmosphere was amazing, not just the finalists but the crack from the Oz fans in particular was tremendous!

We spent Friday night watching the bronze match in the Cafe Mabillion, and although smokey, we had a really good time. The French support was loud and good humoured, and even the result was bad for them, it was handshakes all around and bon chance pour samedi!

Well done to South Africa for winning the competition. We spent the first half in a restaurant, report to follow, and the second in the Marais, Hotel de Ville, with loud, but good natured ooing and ahhing, and a drink or two!

I've got to say the atmosphere was quieter than the Friday night, but good nonetheless.
