:)Megan, I am so pleased for you. I've always felt lucky here in the UK that Paris is so accessable for us when I read about long flights and jeylag you all suffer.. So we may be able to welcome you. (UK isn't bad either) Good luck Karma from me also if it helps. Denise Love from England

Well Team
A further update - had the second interview tonight for the UK transfer and will know for sure by end of next week !! You know when you really want something and then prepare prepare prepare then when the time comes your mind goes blank, you cannot recall the brillant answers that you had prepared, you lose all grasp of your mother tongue and start grappling for words as simple as 'the" , well that was me tonight . The video conference didn't work and I connected 20 mins late , the lights in the room kept phasing out so that I was sitting in total darkness at least 3 times during the interview and had to jump up middle sentence and grapple for light . It was shocking but the final disaster was when they asked me why I wanted to come to the UK - In my head I was thinking so I can get to Paris whenever I like , knew I could not say that so waffled on about complete rubbish for 10 mins. I am truly an addict !

Megan, my experience has been that you're rarely as bad as you think you were. It was likely only apparent to you that you were "waffling on about complete rubbish" (I like your turn of a phrase there ) I'm sure you were fine. Good luck!

Megan, your obvious coping skills in dealing with technological nonsense with aplomb will convince them that you are the person they need and want!

Megan, I've boosted your karma for luck. I had a second interview once and thought I'd bombed it miserably, but ended up getting an offer. You never know!

I am offically going mad waiting- They have called for references from my old boss and another boss that I have worked closely with . So I guess it is just a matter of time. They said that I would hear this week but it is Friday afternoon here ( early Friday morning there) so may get something over my weekend !!
Thanks for asking - Waiting is the name of the game I guess !

I hate waiting - it's miserable isn't it. On the other hand, I love your philosophy about whatever happens is what's meant to be. I've found that to be true, through age and experience. I'm exalting you, just in case it helps!
