Well, I just added up my days til I leave for my very first trip to Paris and it is exactly 150 days!!!

Thanks to all of you here on the Our Paris forum, my Paris obsession worsened to the point that I decided that if I didn't start planning a trip back sometime soon I was going to go CRAZY.

So...I convinced my mom to join me for a trip to Paris over the Christmas holdiay. I still have all the details to work out, but I am SO happy!!!

YEA! Let the obsessive Paris trip planning begin!!! ;D

I just reserved our apartment and bought our plane tickets...my mom and I are definitely off to Paris from Christmas day through January 2nd - YeeHa!!!

It's her first trip...and I'm so happy to be able to take her. She's a caretaker for my stepdad and for the longest time kept saying that she couldn't possibly go away and leave him. I told her that that's ALL the more reason why she needs to go. I convinced her that she's done so many things for her friends that I was sure that they'd step in and help...I told her to call her posse. And sure enough -everyone is encouraging her and telling her to go for it and to not worry, and that they would help her.

This trip means a lot to me...my mom has been so good to me that it feels wonderful to be able to finally do something for her.
Besides, she's a trip - she's a LOT of fun. I feel like we're sisters or good friends...we get along really well so I know that we'll have a blast.

Anyway, I just had to share my joy and excitement!!!
