;D ;D ;D I am a grand-mere !!! The blessed event took place yesterday morning. Linor, the girl, was born first at 9:42 local time, and her "younger" brother Yuval was born at 9:43. She weighed 2.6 kilos, and he weighed 2.43 kilos. Not bad weights for twinnies, right? Needless to say, I'm both ecstatic and exhausted. P.S. I plan to tell the babies about Paris today.

P.S. I plan to tell the babies about Paris today. That's exciting news Grandma. I am glad you have your priorities in order. Their names are lovely - and (for me) unusual. Are they family names?

Congratulations, Shoesy! Let the spoiling begin! ;D A good way to get them hooked on Paris is to start showing them the movie Ratatouille as soon as possible (don't ask me how I know this, ) Can't wait to see some pictures! Jo

Merci to you all ! Regarding the names, they were chosen by my DIL, who wanted names that she truly loves. Yuval appears in the Bible (The Book of Genesis). He was supposedly the first musician. It is also a Hebrew word meaning "brook" or "stream". As for the name Linor, I was particularly excited when I heard that this name had been selected for the girl because my dear mother's name was Leonore. Linor means "I have light". And just to make sure the names are pronounced properly: Yuval sounds like "yoo - vahl". Linor sounds like "lee - nohr".
