I forgot to mention that the day the twinnies were born, I had arrived at the hospital early in the morning so that I would be there during the scheduled C-section. Anyway, I had in my bag something I had been saving for over 5 months: 2 pairs of little socks from Paris. ;D Naturally, one is light blue, and the other pink. They have little pics of the ET in addition to the word Paris on them. Since I wasn't supposed to buy things before the birth, I was really hesitant about buying them , but I kept seeing those socks in all the tourist shops, and on my last day, I knew I couldn't return home W/O buying the babies a little something from my favorite city.

Aww, that's a sweet story, Shoesy. I hope you manage to take a photo of cute baby feet with Parisian socks.

Speaking of their feet, I saw them (and also their cute little popos ;D) for the first time yesterday, and I must say that Linor has VERY big feet compared to those skinny little legs of hers.

Good observation, Mez, to which I have a response. Berthillon, as delicious as I find it, is cold, and the twinnies are much too warm and cuddly to be compared to anything cold.

Funny, Last year I bought the same little booties for my then unborn grand baby. We did not know if "she" was "she" yet so I also bought pink and blue.

Thanks, Darcy. Suzanne - I guess many babies own those same socks since they can be found in all the tourist shops.

Perfectly sweet nicknames, Shoesy! Our last night in Paris we stopped in a souvenir shop for a trinket for Van, and I saw the little pink and blue Paris socks and thought of you!
