Yes Anne..the cuff links and the studs(buttons)for the tux shirt.
When we were in Paris for the World Cup in 1998 I got my S/O a set with the blue, white and red soccer ball(I got a pendant!)....not quite the same thing..........
Love the Swedish chef!

O - M - G !!! What a spectacular-looking cake! I couldn't press the "exalt" button fast enough when I saw it! And as sweet little Cybee has remarked, you look simply dashing .......definitely worthy of being the owner of a ruby Cartier dress set.

Wow! What an amazing cake. The 'wood' of the roulette wheel looks so life like.
Who got to cut it? I would hate to have cut it, it looks so good.

Two of our participants with Down Syndrome helped cut the first few pieces, and then we turned it over to the caterer to finish cutting the remainder. Even the catering company (it's one of the best in the area--The White House, Gucci, Hermes are among their regular clients) was blown away by the cake. Our catering account exec wants photos of the cake to show her staff. Their pastry chef is French and she says pictures of the cake will really piss him off!

OK Doug, you still must find a way for us Europeans, Australians, etc ... to watch YOUR episode on our computers (no, not the Swedish Chef this time ) .

The cake is amazing. I would not be able to cut anything that nice up. I had the same reaction to the cakes at Fouchon.

I know what you mean, Ray. Something that takes so long to create is much too beautiful to cut. I am wondering about the craps wheel as well. It almost looks like a bread dough. Was it really frosting? Wow.

And it spun!! What bothers me are the cakes with "real" photos on them..who wants to cut into someone's face! For a baby shower it was in the shape of a baby! Yikes! Make my piece lucky 13!

The coating was rolled fondant, as were the playing chips. The only unedible part was the ring around the spinning wheel that concealed the turntable. It was made of foam and then covered in the same wood-grained fondant used on the wheel itself. The handle and the "marker" were gum paste. The marble was a silver dragée. I've just learned that it will be in the opening episode of the new season. Now, I just have to figure out when the new season starts

Enough about the cake. I see a doppleganger of young Bruce Willis in that photo ! Oooohhh, how delish..... (and I am not talking about the cake.......) Truffy, if you work really hard in the gym, you've got a future to exceed you wildest dreams ! Girls, we already have a Catherine Deneuve (sistereurope's mom) - and now we also have our very own John McClane......... ps. congrats on the fundraising - well done !
