It's not at all Paris-related, but some of you foodies might be interested to know that I'll be taping an episode of "Ace of Cakes" this Saturday evening. I hired Duff and his team to create a cake in the shape of a spinning roulette wheel for our Monte Carlo night fundraiser, and they're going to feature it on one of the nationally-aired episodes. It's one of the most popular shows on the Food Network, but if you've never seen it, you might want to tune in tonight at 10:00 (Eastern) to watch an episode (not the episode with our cake). It's all very exciting! ;D

Oh, and the cake is going to be a tiramisu cake. They're making two additional "back-up" sheet cakes--one chocolate-raspberry, and the other Italian orange-vanilla.

Whoah, Truffaut! That is awesome you are going to be on Food Network! Definitely keep us posted when your cake(s) (and you!) will be shown! (That sounds like QUITE a cake too!). I would LOVE to see it and OurParisForum can perhaps create a spike in viewers for that particular episode! (if now I could only taste the cake..hmm..)

It is not one of my favs on FN but it will be when you air! Where is it being filmed? This time last week I was interviewing for a position across the street from the Chelsea Market....where FN has their studios in NYC.

The show's filmed on location at the bakery in Baltimore, and then at whatever location the cake is to be eaten! I'm wearing a standard tux, but I'll add a little French flair with my Cartier ruby dress set! I'll have to start going around like this now, since I'll be famous!

Having seen your picture with the Gods and Goddesses, I can just imagine you are real eye candy in a tux! I love a man in a tux! Fortunately I have a husband who loves wearing them.

Oooh Truffy, this is sooo exciting ! You MUST find a way to allow us non-Americans to watch your episode : directly on the Food Network website, or on Youtube, or have you got another idea ? Keep us posted . What is a "dress set" ? Is it cuff links ? Anyway, being Cartier and being ruby, it cannot be anything bad
