Have a most wonderful trip and don't forget to keep a journal so you can write a great trip report when you return for all of us to salivate over! Look both ways when crossing streets, also!

Oh gosh, I don't even know what to wish for you on your first trip....
Fall in love in Paris. Savor your first deeply-felt "mmm" food moment in Paris. Buy something to wear (even a scarf, belt or hat) that magically transforms them into the most glorious creature ever to walk the Earth in Paris. Find a thousands reasons to visit again and again.....

Gitte, I hope you speak for yourself, I don´t feel like an old granny at all!!! As an older sister may be... Well, ok, as a worried mother . I also hope our Anna has arrived safely and is having a wonderful time in Paris!

I can't help but wonder what willow is doing right now. It's exciting to try to imagine her whereabouts this very minute. As for the "granny" issue, none of us really meet that description, even those of us who are a lot older (including myself). However, it's only natural for us to feel a bit overprotective of our young forumist despite the fact that she seems very independent and extremely capable. Hey..........should we have given her a curfew? ;D

Just wanted to drop and say I arrived!!!! It's rainy but it's Paris!! I was practically skipping with joy despite the fact I got no sleep due to excitement.
I am off to explore the neighborhood, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew all is well!

Oh! a first time in Paris..... well according to Le Monde weather forecast tomorrow should be Averses isolées, éclaircies tardives et chaud (20 Celsisus) and after that Ensoleillé et chaleur agréable. So it looks like our little one will have fair weather soon.

I agree...it sounds so great..exploring your Paris Neighborhood in the rain!! It has been raining here for a few days and I love my neighborhood...but..not quite the same feeling! I hope the sun shines for some of your trip but also that you see a rainbow!!!
