Geordy - It seems to rain a lot in your neighborhood, doesn't it?

Willow....IMO the best trip to Paris is your first one, then the second one and each one thereafter. Enjoy and can't wait to read your trip report.

Really excited for you Willow. You have been looking forward to this for a while so know you will enjoy everything. We leave on Sunday so will actually overlap a bit with you but will be heading out to the Loire the day after arrival so won't be in Paris till the end of the countryside touring. Shoesy, I am indeed a Granny, three times. And my oldest is 21 years, just a bit younger than Willow. She had her first solo trip to Ireland in March.

Glad you've arrived safely, Willow. Can't wait to hear more....but we can wait until you get back - we don't want you sitting in an internet cafe while Paris is outside waiting for you. Mez

Holger - When I used the term "granny", I didn't mean someone who has grandchildren. I meant someone who acts like an old-fashioned granny and is not young in spirit. You, my dear traveller, are perhaps one of the youngest in that respect. All your Paris planning shows that you are so full of energy and spunk. And speaking of trips, holger, you must be sooooooo excited now.

Thank you everyone, Grannies and Big sisters/brothers alike! I did a little more exploring this morning, and had my first delicious cafe creme. Yum!!! Someone discovered my blog that I am keeping for my family. You are more then welcome to follow along, though I will post a report on here. www.finallyfreeinparis.blogspot.comI'm off to the Eiffel Tower, but first does anyone know if Petit Troquet is open?

Hi, Willow! Glad you are having fun in Paris (is IF)! Fun you have a blogsite that we can read along about your adventures whenever you have time to relay them! Do you have internet connection in your apt then? That would be great as then that is a great time to unwind and well, relish/relive your Paris moments online if wanted! Actually, you will likely find this to be your FIRST trip of a lifetime as opposed to THE trip of a lifetime..once you become addicted to Paris! ha!

Hi Willow! We are all SOOOO proud of you!!! I hope you have the trip of a lifetime and become just as addicted as we all are!
As of last summer, Le P'Tit Troquet was open and our dinner there was wonderful. Very charming little French resto with a charming hostess/owner.
We, obviously, are waiting for a daily update and beaucoup details!

My blog has been updated with details galore and some pictures. There will be more pictures on a summary report once I get back, but for now enjoy!
