Hi everyone! The weather seems gorgeous. I just walked my adorable little Maltese nephew, and I was surprised to see how pleasant it was outside. ;D

And Happy, in my tiny little apartment if I have the A/C and the computer on at the same time..the power surge thingy shuts off after about 15 mins.!!!! So I have to unplug the surge strip and plug the A/C directly into the wall which means I can't be online!!!! So let us hope Shoesy's desert air stays with us ahwile! Tall order I know....Summer in the City!!!

I'm also very glad to have another Methusaleh on the forum. Hey - are we a group of older and wiser folks, or are we simply a bunch of over-the-hill people that belong in a geriatric ward - LOL ? ;D

Since I suppose that I too will end up reaching the Metuselah nirvana one day, I'll definetly choose the first option . Except that I will NEVER be old, only wise .

Speaking of shoes, I just got back from Comfort One where I purchased some Eccos and a pair of surprisingly comfortable Studio C strappy sandals with about a 1 inch heel. I had no comfortable walking shoes for Paris, nor did I have any "comfortable" dress shoes.
I feel confident I can wear the strappy sandals to dinner without ending up limping too much and the Eccos aren't that bad looking. I also tried on some Naots that were very good looking and I can tell are very comfortable, but seemed just a little too narrow in the heel for me.
Thanks for the shoe talk, you gave me ideas on some good brands.

Congrats Sistereurope! Also, isn't it beautiful out today? lol on the Sweltermore. I've never heard that but I have heard it called Baltimofo...which I think is hilarious.

Yes, I'd say that we're all wise...and SOME of us goof off WAY too much at work...
Red...yes, comfortable shoes are a necessity and a topic that merits much discussion in my view. Congrats on your shoe finds.
Oh, and I have a friend who calls Baltimore "Smalltimore", because it's more like 3-4 degrees of separation here: everyone knows everyone else ;D

That just means it is friendly, Sistereurope!
Yes, we could go on and on about shoes, couldn't we? They actually had many very stylish, comfortable shoes. Now that I am of a certain age I do consider comfort *almost* equal with looks.
