How beautiful, Parisbound! The only thing missing from that Paris scene is................... ME.

I woke up this morning to discover that the #1 Methusaleh has looked in my direction and handed down an edict. Now never mind that I have 49 people coming to my house for dinner party tonight (!panic!), and that I have no business taking the time to figure out how in the heck you wizards have been posting photos right and left, but given the commandment that has been issued (along with strong work avoidance instincts) I'll now attempt to post my meager little deviled egg painting photo.

It's EXCELLENT Aude!! Is it oil or watercolor? My painting was a result of my husband and a painter friend of ours conspiring to get me motivated art-wise - he took me to her house and left me there while she commanded: "you're going to paint something before you leave here today - here, start with this pepper", then she sat me down with a piece of paper, some acrylic and a brush!! So I said "I'll show them" and painted, well, that pepper. But your eggs - they're so lovely! And your clock ties it all back to Our Paris - that's a great assembly (as does my FRENCH wedding cake ) And Parisbound - I loved your writing. Thanks for sharing! See what you've done with the title of your post Phread??

Thanks so much for posting that painting, Aude. Those eggs look so inviting - lots of yummy filling. What truly talented painters we have on this forum!!!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing, geordy. (Hey- have you finished all your Bamba and Bissli yet?)

No shoesy, I'm pacing myself!! I'm about 2/3 thru the Bissli and have not hit the bamba yet! The Bissli will probably be finished during my break at work today! ;D

Sistereurope, thanks! Isn't it inspirational for you to see that great pepper you painted when your husband and friend made you do it??!! I understand that it's hard to make painting a priority...it always seems to slide to the bottom of my "to-do" list. I paint in acrylics.
Geordy and Shoesy, the party last night was an annual party we host for my husband's work -- which means everyone was very polite and nothing wild and crazy happened! The food was catered so that makes it much easier. But I still like to grumble because it takes days to get the house and yard ready.
