This is a site I have used several times to find and reserve hotels (you can use it for cities all over France, but I have used for Paris). It is possible to sort by area, by number of stars, etc., and has good interactive functions. www.francehotelreservation.com/en/paris/.

Has anyone used this site? en.federal-hotel.com/I browsed at it a lot when looking for a hotel for my last trip. It seemed to offer very good discounts for hotels in Paris, but I ended booking through Venere.

Go to www.hoosta.com. This is not a hotel reservation site, but it is much more better. It gives you direct access to all informations of 400 luxury or desing hotels in Paris, London, Berlin, Roma, Madrid.....You can see very quickly informations about hotels and then enter directly through their official websites or direct online mail. It is free for internauts and very useful. And the best rates are not on reservation sites but directly on hotels sites.

Four posts by Teddy and not even a "hello" ,, sorry Teddy this is not that type of board. We recommend sites and hotels to each other, but we don't PROMOTE anything. Please come on and tell us a bit about yourself,, we welcome you here, but, if this is what I suspect then I hope your posts go bye bye.

If you are going to use priceline.com to book a hotel reservation, make sure you go to www.biddingfortravel.com first. It's a message board that will tell you what hotels people are getting and for what price they are getting them for. I have never used it for booking hotels in Paris, but you certainly can. The best deal I found out about was a nice 4-star in London for just $57 (yes, dollars) per night.

I just took a quick look at that site, Tr. Prof., and it seems like it can be very helpful. I'm not sure I would ever be adventurous enough to actually take advantage of booking through priceline.com, though I'm sure you can save lots of money by doing so.
