I got this email ad this morning and something in it has me puzzled. What does the wall sticker in the top right picture say? My translator says it's "Happiness has the shovel" Is this one of those things that loses something in translation, or is my translator just waaay off?

A la pelle means in great quantity. In your case a full shovel of hapiness.
An other locution with the word pelle would be "être rond comme une queue de pelle" (to be extremely drunk)
Et voilà la petite minute culturelle !

www.wordreference.com/fr/Annette, I like this dictionary very much, because it gives examples of the usage. If you type "à la pelle" the translation is suggested to be "by the dozen" - (which I suppose means: "lots of").
