I bought some tickets online for Caberet at Les Folies Bergère ...and the method of delivery (which was the only free one) said RETRAIT BORNE. OK, my husband, who is fairly fluent, had no idea what this means. I'm guessing that it means will call, am I correct?

This should mean you pick up your tickets at a machine locally. It should have given you some link to where the bornes are actually located. Sounds much like when you pick up your SNCF tickets at the machines located in the train stations or SNCF boutiques. When doing that, you must use the same credit card you used to reserve the tickets when you use the machine.
I am not certain if the Bornes for your tickets will require the same thing. I'm sure someone else who has purchased tickets this way will come along and advise.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll manage to figure it out once I get there.

If it's a machine thing, then you almost certainly will have to find a live cashier (probably at the same location as the machines) and present confirmation of your purchase plus the same credit card, because machines of that type typically will not accept US credit cards (although the human cashiers will).

I think Gitte explained the exact process under the Folies thread in another section.
'Borne' typically means a machine (in this context), but in this case, Gitte knows more than I do as she has apparently bought tickets in this manner.
