As for my trip, I will be so booked. THe first week I'll be with my children, staying with French friends in Neuilly with their children...it will be a very "children centered" time...But it's good for my children to practice their french with other kids.

The second week my kids leave and my mom arrives with her companion, and the tour-guide-Les comes out. We have an apartment rented, which will be nice. I have a bunch of friends who will be in town that second week, and we're seeing at least one person every day.

I reallly look forward to it, although I'm not anywhere near ready to go...

Wauw - thanks everybody !!! I have started ironing and laying neatly folded clothes out all over our dinner table in equally neat stacks, before they go into the suitcase. So my poor husband has to make do with the kitchentable.
Weather reports say mixed weather, showers and sun, not too boiling hot, which suits me fine.
Les, I shall be staying in Montmartre.

I hope you both have a fantastic trip, yes the weather is a mix of sun and showers at the moment in England too and we usually follow from the French, I too am a little green, but you are both wonderful people so I am glad for you . I will however expect a full trip report on your return. Bon Voyage!!!! ;D
