Hey everyone! I've been renamed. I'm now Methuselah. Isn't that cool?

Ya know, I'm not so sure about this particular designation ... I mean, talk about an age-sensitive title! Now, timelessness (e.g., goddess status) might be a different thing (think of the Venus de Milo!).

Oh, I'm perfectly fine with that oldie image. Let's face it..........I can still wear a leotard and tights. ;D

And I wouldn't want to be Venus de Milo because of her missing arms. It's bad enough that I've had one injured arm since March 16th.

Well, now, Shoesy -- er, Methuselah -- if you were Venus then at least no one could criticize your typing (or expect you to "lift a finger" to do anything for yourself, hee hee). And, let's face it, anyone at all can wear a leotard and tights, and they frequently do -- it's just that we would prefer that (with the sole and notable exception of Your Exalted Self) we sincerely wish they wouldn't! ;D

Shoesy, I have trouble seeing you as a Methuselah. Perhaps Circe would be a better mythic image. I think Martha Graham used her as the model for some form of modern dance.

I think my new Biblical name suits me because I live in the Holy Land. Great shirt, sistereurope!

My mother's favorite saying when I was a child was that I made her feel older than Methusaleh. I don't know why...
I'm not too sure about this new moniker, Shoesy. Seems they could have come up with something with a LITTLE more polish... Grand Poobah or Grand Poobette or something...and with Truffaut and Luc behind it, it's even more highly suspect...

I like it! I don't really mind what you are called so long as its nothing nasty, at the end of the day you will always be fun loving, happy go lucky Shoesy to me. P.S Poobar and Poobette sound like kids cartoon characters in a TV program in England called The Fimbles (not that I would know anything about that of course)

Shoesy likes it because as Methuselah she gets to live for a LOOOONG time. She'll be around here dispensing her kind words and telling people to go to Berthillion for another 900 some years!
Must be all that ballet dancin'...

Having thought about it I like the word "Muse" but maybe that would be a demotion rather than a promotion.

Well, it appears that my random thought seems to be somewhat popular ;D
I could rename the entire line-up. We could all be major artworks in Paris. We could be landmarks. We could be famous French people. Or we can keep what we've got know and work on the top-rank name. Let me know!

Sounds like a fun idea, Truffaut. Hey - can I be called Berthillon? Hmmm.........that's not really a landmark, is it? ;D
