I just read on another thread (thanks Becky) that one has to click on the world symbol in the "add tags" part in order to turn a copied web address into a hyperlink . I hadn't known it, so each (few) times that I have posted a link I just pasted the web address and that was it . So I assume that you couldn't access the address directly .
Now I have studied that "add tags" part and have a few questions : - What is that arrow meant for ? When I go over it it just says "blockquote" . When I want to quote, I just use the "quote" button in the post that I want to quote . Now my problem is that this automatically quotes the whole post, not just the part that I have highlighted . Would this "blockquote" button be a solution to that problem ? - Is using the "insert image" button any better than just using the copy/paste function ?
Ooops, I just realized that there is already an "add tags" old thread . But it doesn't answer my questions, and I don't know how to "join" two threads anyway .

Well, then I completly misunderstood the sense of "blockquote" . I thought that it was about quoting from another post ... Thank you Truffaut .

In English usage, block quotes are generally used when you want to quote something that's more than a sentence or two in length. It is indented on both the right and left margins and sometimes even appears in a different font. To use any of the tags, you need to either highlight the text to which you want the characteristics applied, or type the text between the brackets that appear on the screen. You already know about block quote. The globe changes into a web address such as www.OurParisBlog.comThe globe with the folders allows files to be attached (but this feature is disabled). The photo allows photographs to be inserted. The envelope allows email address such as www.truffaut6@wanadoo.frThe next three tags allow you to create a nice orderly table. The "sup" and "sub" tags allow small print which comes in handy when giving directions, as Wepler is located at M o pl de Clichy. The teletype tag just creates strange text. The insert code tag is for when you want to post HTML.

They all work the same way and font face just changes the appearance of the font.
