Seeing as some of us speak very little French and others are either fluent or semi-fluent, is there a way of having a "Learning French" section or thread whereby we can learn about phrases and ask questions....or even (if someone has the time) do online french lessons with us (I know thats a bit cheeky) but I would love to learn more and am guessing that many others would too?

"muscled" and "french man" are not words often seen in the same sentence!!

Oh, Anne, I'm perfectly fond of French men! It's just that I don't think of them being particularly muscular (compared to American men, who are often too muscular).

Yes, Truffaut, I agree. French men can be very attractive, but generally are a bit more fine boned and maybe not as muscular as in other countries...but they are a nice lot, indeed!

I'm confused Is this a thread on French things or learning/pronouncing French words. I'm not being negative I just thought there was going to be a subject where we put in "how to?" Either way mine is George V is it prounched like the English 5th or cinq (sank)?

George cinq

It is pronounced in French George cinq. But don't worry if you have the mean to stay there they will let you pronounce it any way you like !
