For all you people who are struggling to do your avatar I have opened up an account at Photobucket, just for this site, Firstly get a pen and write down these instructions so you have them to hand, then go to photobucket.com/ And log in with these details, username - ourparis password - paris You will see a whole load of avatars already uploaded for you, all you have to do is 1. Click on the FIRST line below the picture you like, the URL (this will automatically copy the information you need) 2. Click off that site and come to this one 3. Click on your username 4. Click on modify profile 5. Scroll down to the avatar bit 6. "Right" click into the box that says avatar URL and click PASTE(this will put in some writing) 7. Type in 100 for width and 100 for height 8. Scroll to bottom of the page and click Modify Your avatar should be done.............Hope this helps you better, Andi Now I will concentrate on writing things about Paris!!!! |

What does Methusala signafy by som posters'names? It's a rating based on the number of posts a person has made. There are various levels, but I'm not sure at what post number the names change. |

I just checked my old e-mail account and discovered an e-mail from Photobucket saying "Sorry you wish to close your Ourparis account".................... I AM VERY UPSET! It chokes me to type this but it was indeed a sabotage attempt,  Why would anyone want to do such a nasty act?, what harm was that account doing to anyone? At first I thought it was closed because it was no-longer being used and probably too naive to assume the worst. It could have been anyone from anywhere that did it, the details where on show for all to see. The e-mail was sent 5 days ago, it gave me 48 hours to cancel my cancellation, I have contacted them to try to save it but it may be too late, we will have to wait and see. The new account is set up and anyone wanting to make use of it can PM me or the Gods and Goddesses for details. Andi x |

This is so disgusting. Someone obviously took advantage of your openness and abused it to do harm to the forum. We are having great success now with the forum attracting new members almost every day, but we mustn't be blind to the fact that success can also cause jealousy and malevolence.  |

Okay, I didn't scroll down far enough to see you had to create a new account so I created my own account, downloaded my picture, resized it and followed the copy & paste instructions, but it still won't work. Ahhhhhh. Has anyone got any suggestions about what I may be doing wrong - the new caption isn't much good without the picture in front of the eiffel tower! |
