OK. I've got the avatar thing down, thanks to my many helpers here. Now I need to tackle inserting photos in the reply. I understand the "insert photo" button on the reply page, but can someone please talk me through using a personal picture that is not from photobucket? How do I get the selected picture from "My Pictures "to show up in the reply on this site? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi golden - you can't do it directly (apparently); first you have to upload it to photobucket, and then you have to copy the IMG designation under the picture as uploaded, and paste that into your message here (no need to click "insert photo" or anything -- by pasting that the computer knows where to look for the photo you want inserted, and you will see it when you click the preview button). Good luck, can't wait to see what you're adding.

Thats exactly it Becky, Photobucket works so much better than Imageshack. Imageshack can sometimes play up and I have known quite a few people have problems posting pictures with it.

I actually made luggage tags using the picture, then had laminated. Office Max does them in a heavy laminated with the hole for band.

I think jcj has inadvertently posted this here.
Should it not be in "Home Exchange"!
It really is very nice jcj. Can I be at the front of the queue?? ;D

Well, if you are posting pictures while you're in France, "we want your LIFE" but, failing that, we will be happy with your pics . . . . ;D

trechic and gitte -
Thanks for the information, I will see what I can do with it.
Gitte - I type my post information from edge to edge in the box for reply and it comes out in a block when it's posted. I sure hope you will continue to read and respond to my posts.
