Luc, Truffy and Phread, I just read in my Sunday paper that there is an exhibition going on at Musée Carnavalet until March 9 : "Benjamin Franklin, un Américain à Paris" . The exhibition shows about 350 paintings, sculptures and documents which demonstrate "his influence, both political and scientific, as well as his exceptionnal popularity" .
Benjamin Franklin lived in Paris from 1776 till 1785 as the first ambassador of the USA . He became very popular in Paris and moved in society circles . He was a regular at the still-in-business Café Procope .
