The French government is experimenting total free entry in a few museums in France until the end of June . This 6 months experiment is being conducted in order to see whether this would help attracting to Culture (with a big "C") people who are not used to visiting museums . So the Parisian museums are : musée Guimet (Asian art), musée de Cluny (Middle-Ages), musée des Antiquités Nationales de St-Germain-en-Laye, musée national de la Renaissance d'Ecouen, musée des Arts et Métiers, musée de l'Air et de l'Espace du Bourget . Besides, some museums will be free one evening per week for the 18-25 years old (that's for Willow ) : Centre Pompidou on Wednesday evenings, Orsay on Thursdays, Louvre in Fridays and Quai Branly on Saturdays .

anne - Thanks for the information. I'm pleased to see that the Cluny has been included; it is one of my favorites.
