I posted a thread on that "other" site yesterday to organize a gathering on Wednesday, Oct 3. It looks like IanK and Mez will both be in town, and you are both welcome and encouraged to come. I'm emailing waytogogirl to work with her to set the time and place, and i'll post it here as well. To anyone else that's going to be there....please come. Join us.

I wish I could join you too, but guess who is NOT going to be in Paris to party with you guys. But nevertheless, I wish all of you a fun meeting and of course a wonderful trip to Paris.

Shoesy, you will certainly be missed, but most definitely not forgotten. We'll toast your health (with fruit juice, of course) and then head immediately to Berthillon.

Arrow, I'll definitely be there if the dates match.
I did answer a recent TA thread about a Paris get-together, but I don't think it was yours.
Mez.

For anyone who might be around on Wednesday, 3 OCT 07, Waytogogirl (our TA friend) and I have organized a gathering at 1730h at the Cafe Le Petit Pont for cocktails, beer/wine. Le Petit Pont faces the same little park that the Shakespeare Bookstore faces right at the corner of rue de la Bucherie and rue du Petit Pont, just steps from the river. It would be wonderful to meet those of you who might happen to be crossing paths at that time.

I've just realised that I'm off to the ballet that night. I might be able to make it for a drink beforehand, but I'll need to check distances beforehand.
What a shame!

Alas, I won't be in Paris either, but at least I'll be off to Santa Fe to meet 8 girlfriends for a weekend of relaxation!

That's just a few hours from now. I will definitely be thinking of all of you people who are not only lucky to be in Paris now, but are fortunate to be able to meet each other. Best regards from MOI, aka Shoesy.

I'll be there in spirit! I'd much rather be there, by the Seine with like minded folks then working at a party watching the "swells" eat and drink!!

Have fun tonight. Hope you have a good turnout. It is at Petit Pontoise , right? Save a little wine for us when we are there next month.
And do tell what everyone had to eat
