Thanks for the link Cigale . I am just afraid that most of us here will have some trouble squeezing ourselves into "clothing ...left by fashion models" (and the now compulsory aligot-tasting in Paris won't help here ...) ;D . May I add to your list Dider Ludot, under the Palais-Royal arcades . I it not really the same thing as in your link, since his clothes and accessories are vintage instead of latest fashion, but if one of you fancies a '50s Dior evening dress or a '60s tailleur Chanel (or a ? Gucci leather coat ), this is the place .

Anne - I was thinking the same thing regarding the clothes worn by models. I would assume that they are a size 0 or a 2.

;D
Dider Ludot has fabulous stuff. But many of the items there are far more expensive than new items from the same designers. But if you enjoy vintage clothing it is worthwhile to look at what is there even if not able to buy.

I'm guessing that all of these places will have items for which "size doesn't matter" such as accessories (not just the size 0 pencil skirt that would be difficult for the average adult woman ) so worth a cruise through! Thanks for posting these!

I remember an article in the issue of Gourmet in 2001, that was solely on Paris, about Dider Ludot. Apparently the vintage dresses there are just spectacular, but they are very pricey. Ruth Reichl (sp?), the editor in chief of Gourmet, tried one on and fell in love with it. I'd love to look sometime just for fun.

It is fun. But the vintage Hermes scarfs were several hundred euros higher than a new Hermes scarf. They were more interesting but very pricey.

holger, I guess they're considered antiques.

Well, my leather coat was very reasonably priced . Anyway, Ludot's shops have loooong windows, and just looking at their content is a real pleasure
