Yes Gitte, I LOVED this morning's email! It's been really fun to receive these daily updates. Thanks for bringing my attention to the fact that we could subscribe! Till you posted about thiat, I had just checked the website occasionally and had been missing things.
Chigale, for some reason the scarf post has been deleted--sounds like there are laws in France about posting photos of people without their permission.

If you don't already subscribe to Heather Stimmler-Hall's Paris newsletter, I suggest you do, for it is very good, very relevant, very updated information. This is the latest issue: www.secretsofparis.com/newsletter86/Also this blog "Une femme d'un certain age" is quite entertaining. Lots of fashion and small-talk from Paris. The headline for the blog is: "On living a stylish, adventurous, balanced, delicious life after 50" - a statement to which we can all approve, I guess. www.unefemme.net/

:)Fantastic websites Gitte. I already have used Heather Stimmler- Hall walks, didn't know she did a monthly newsletter.
Oh dear Gitte! you have now given me MORE stuff to follow on the internet. When will I ever find the time to go to work.
Poor Michael is already an internet widower, he is complaining I have not spoken to him for days. What with research and planning for the WWOPF weekend in Feb, London forum , TA Online French course AND looking forward to next year. The only time we actually spend time together is when we are IN Paris without internet access!
Love Denise xx
Ps How do I subscribe, if I save it to "favourites" will I aoutomatically get the latest copy?

Denise, you scroll down till you see a red headline in the lefthand column called "The Newsletter".
Then you click on "Secrets of Paris Newsletter" and you come to a page where you can type your email address.
BTW, did any of you notice the secret tip that you can in fact buy a 10 RER tickets carnet from CDG-Paris for 67,20 euros. Normally the tickets from CDG costs 8,40 euros, so that will save you a nice sum, if you go to Paris regularly and use the RER for transfer.
According to the newsletter, the carnet tickets do not expire - and you never have to stand in line at the RER station to buy a ticket.
