I can REALLY recommend that you subscribe to the newsletter from the blog: parisbreakfasts.blogspot.com/About once a week the blogmistress, Carol Gillot, sends out the most wonderful newletters, filled with photos around some theme. This week it is the renowned French scarf with a lot of "sneak" photos of Parisians dressed with their stylish scarves. Earlier it was about the chocolate fair "Salon du Chocolat" and another one about the transportation strike "Comme des Sardines" - with funny pics from the crowded metro. Also she has her own website with a big collection of extremely beautiful aquarels (link is also on the blog) www.flickr.com/photos/parisbreakfast/sets/72057594114774269/detail/

I started sweating as I looked at all those pretty scarves. We're having a bit of a heatwave here - temperatures in the 30's.

You just couldn't resist the temptation to rub it in, that YOU live in sunny paradise while some of us have to freeze our butts off in the north Atlantic . . . . now could you ?

I read what you said about grey yesterday and ran right out and bought a nice long grey print scarf! Thinking about it I have a couple of grey sweaters, guess I'll dig those out too. I'll be so chic

Thanks, yes she looked like a movie star of those days. When she was even younger she very much resembled Leslie Caron, people used to stop her in the street to ask if she was her! The only difference is that she never went to Paris. I don´t look like her at all, I´m more like my father -who was also very handsome as well!

YES! That's who I thought she looked like - Leslie Caron! In any event, I'm sure that she's still as beautiful...

Hey, you two pests...... no problemo, dachshunds I can deal with.
If they start getting obnoxious and cocky they can be jammed into a: - golfbag - winecooler - 2 liters Coca-Cola bottle - bazooka - ghettoblaster - vacuumcleaner
Also, yorkshire terriers are quite handy creatures. If you attach them with gaffatape to a long stick, you can use them for removing cobwebs from the ceiling......... ;D ;D ;D
