Ride the outside eleavator to the rooftop of Gare Montparnasse
and you'll see another elevated Paris garden, the Jardin Atlantique. Along with nice views, the is also a memorial and a museum devoted to 2 heroes of WWII, Leclerc and Moulin.

Memorial du Marechal Leclerc et Musee Jean Moulin, lots of exhibits and memorabilia and an excellent film documentary on the liberation.
