I thought this attraction deserved a thread of its own. I have never been in, but I certainly will do !

I walked past it an evening this September after dark and could see in through the windows on the first floor with all the roof paintings, chandeliers, gold and glitter ! It almost made me feel like one of the SDF's - walking out in the cold rain, peeping in at all that glorius luxury......

It is a wonderful place....and you can have a fabulous night at the Opera. Just don't get the cheap seats!! See Trip Report #3 A Nite at the Opera...Yikes!!!
