This is a website I found when researching for my trip. I know many of you like Paris gardens, so I think you might find this useful. Unfortunatelly is only in French, but even if you don´t understand it the pictures are beautiful: parcsetjardins.pidf.com/?xtor=ADI-11

Sandy, this is great -- that's a subject that comes up from time to time, and I never have a clue where to find information.

Sandy THANKS !! I never heard of anyone actually being out there. Did you go to see the village as well ? I ask because I read in a French ladies' magazine that it should be charming.

No, we didn´t. We took a bus to go there (I think it was the 52), which dropped us at Port de Saint Cloud, which isn´t a nice place, we had to cross under a highway and a pedestrian tunnel to get to the park. We run back to the same place to get the bus back to Paris, because it was really scary. I didn´t know there was a villlage, maybe we went on the wrong way.

We also found this beautiful garden just by chance, when we went to see the Roland Garros Stadium. It is near Port D´Auteuil. It has a large green house with tropical plants, ponds with fish, and lots of birds, and there are also some tables to seat inside the greenhouse: Jardin des serres d'Auteuil parcsetjardins.pidf.com/page/p-1402/art_id-3021/idf-PCUIDFSRV0000578

I have also seen pics of this one Jardins du Musée Albert Kahn à Boulogne Billancourt which is right at the metro Boulogne Port de Saint Cloud, where you get off, before crossing the bridge. It is on my list for next summer. It should be the most delightful Japanese garden. Don't ask me who Albert Kahn is, a banker, it seems: >>Albert Kahn, banquier (1860-1940), décide de consacrer une partie de sa fortune à la constitution d'une sorte de mémoire photographique et filmographique de la planète<< www.baudelet.net/paris/jardin-albert-kahn.htm
