Does anyone know if it's possible to find out the schedule (or at least what show is next) at the Folies Bergere? I've googled it every way I can figure and don't come up with anything.

I've googled French websites, and didn't find more than what is on the Folies Bergères own website : concerts of AaRON on April 10,11,12 + a South African show called Umoja on June 4 to 8 . I don't know any of those .

Well darn . I found no end of FB info...not that one though. Thanks, ladies. I'm not familiar with those two performers either. I was hoping for a show, similar in WOW factor to Cabaret, to take my teen ami to. I'm trying to plan a trip for November.

Well, it is obviously too early yet to know about November schedule . What I wonder about though is what happens in-between those shows . I mean, Cabaret is finished, so does that mean that the place is closed until April - 3 days, and then again until June - 5 days

I think that's what I was getting at, Anne. Does the building just sit idle? I suppose it would be too much to hope for that another show as good as Cabaret would be there in November...oh well, a girl can hope .

Now I'm curious..when did they stop doing their own shows? Like the Moulin Rouge, Lido, etc.? (Vegas?) Or do they do them still...btw other spectacles?

I'm sure that this bunch will be able to find something really perfect for you to take your friend to see, happy. We have such awesome researchers on this forum!

We do have great researchers, don't we SE? This has also made me curious enough to look into the history of the Folies Bergere. The interior is really beautiful, in that old, if-the-walls-could-talk sort of way. I think I might have said that to sistereurope when we were there. You can just imagine the can-can girls up on the old wood stage. I'll see what I can find out, geordy.

Great researchers, oh yes, thank goodness ;D I just had my PC hard drive cleaned and tech loaded an old version of AOL. I lost 99% of my favorites with about 25% being travel related Because of OurParis posts I hopefully can find most of them.
