I thought this might be a great place for a thread about ladies' plus-sized shopping in Paris. I'm especially interested in where to find cocktail gowns and other fancy dress. I did find one link I thought I would share as it seems to have a lot: list of plus-sized shopsIt seems like a great listing, but I would love to add more information. When we get a good list of shops going, I thought I might map it all to make it that much easier for visitors to find what is near where they are if any think that would be a good plan?

Thanks Gertie. I know there are a few stores on Boulevard Haussmann, further along from the Galeries Lafayette. Ulla Popken is the name of the store at number 32 but I am not sure about the other stores along here.

Nice list. may use it this December. It can be very depressing to find a size 14 considered plus sized. Sort of restricts my vintage to scarves and bags.

I am really trying to get down to a size 12, since I have a really lovely gown I purchased previously in Paris in that size. None too successfully as yet, though. If only I was not quite so good at creating tasty food, maybe? haha

Loved your "fluffy" description.
Yes some times being a good, creative cook,and/ or living close to many good restaurants and bakeries can be your undoing!
Didn't gain anything on trip, may have lost, but trying to re-create at home has tightened a few waistbands!
