Hi everyone, long time no "see"! We have a trip on the horizon (yay!) and I wonder if anyone has recommendations for restaurants we can eat at with toddlers in tow. From TA, I've read that cafes are a good idea, as well as chains like Chez Clement. Any other suggestions? There are a few restos I'd like to revisit as well. Would we be able to eat at Les Papilles or Le Pre Verre for example? Thanks!

Hi Oui! I don't have any first-hand experience with this, but you might take a look at member 33avenue's posts--she took her toddler to Paris for a few months and I remember reading some of her blog posts about places they liked to eat. Also she discovered she could order a drink most places for her daughter--I'm wanting to say it was a hot steamed milk?? A "Babyccino"?

Hi there, Oui! So happy to see you again. How wonderful that you're introducing your little boy to Paris!

Hi Oui, In answer to your specific addresses, I would say definitely yes to Le Pré Verre, and a not so much to Les Papilles. I do think Chez Clement would be a good choice for both you and your toddler. Their chicken and mashed potatoes is pretty benign but if you like something a little more sophisticated, they can manage that as well. They have several locations around the city. As chains go, they're not bad at all, if not gourmet. Good luck and I'm glad you're starting that young'un's love affair with Paris early on!

I remember Phread telling us that the staff at Chez Renee is very good with children and dotes on them. I have also seen the Indiana chain recommended for kids.
