No, first I've heard! Have heard about the bakery though, have been meaning to try but doubt I'll be theere before 9:30!  It's downtown.village I think..out of the way for work and at that hour on weekends I',m catching up with OPF!  ;D |

Somehow I don't think they'd be the same! And deep frying is not my specialty! Now they have gone black market! If you stand on line and get them and are willing to deliver to Brooklyn you can get $40.00, they sell for $5.00! In Manhattan...Black market price $10.00 and up! So now they are limited to 3 per person! Owner says does not intend to increase # a day or "sell out" and open a Cronut only shop but has trademarked name! To be continued I'm sure...until the next BIG THING!!!!! |

Just heard on the radio that it is National Donut day! The place will be overpacked..and its poring rain! ;D And I'm on my way to a Picnic/meeting....ah yes a clammy Knights of Columbus hall and damp burgers!  |
