While I was in Paris a few weeks ago staying at Jean-Pascal's lovely place at Louis-Blanc, he mentioned that he had been filming at Versailles for several months for a National Geographic special. The special, called ACCESS 360° WORLD HERITAGE: PALACE OF VERSAILLES, has started airing on the National Geographic Channel. I highly recommend it. It was fascinating to see how people are working to preserve everything from furniture to 200 year-old pipes. And it's fun knowing that someone I know worked hard to make it a beautiful program. Very cool, Rachel! Sounds like a wonderful program. I just checked and don't see it on the lineup here yet.

Paris is a hotspot for tourists from across the world where one not only finds historical monuments and parks and museums but also royal ventures. One such royal manor place is situated in the Ile-de-France region of France and is called the Palace of Versailles or famously known as Chateau de Versailles. With great piece of architecture and brilliant interior designing, a visit to this place is worth every penny.
