National Geographic special on Versailles

While I was in Paris a few weeks ago staying at Jean-Pascal's lovely place at Louis-Blanc, he mentioned that he had been filming at Versailles for several months for a National Geographic special.

The special, called ACCESS 360° WORLD HERITAGE: PALACE OF VERSAILLES, has started airing on the National Geographic Channel.

I highly recommend it. It was fascinating to see how people are working to preserve everything from furniture to 200 year-old pipes.

And it's fun knowing that someone I know worked hard to make it a beautiful program.
