Really cute! I stumbled upon it yesterday and sent the link for my girls to enjoy. I'd heard scuttlebutt a few weeks ago about some controversy about Minnie looking anorexic in an ad, and guess this must be what it was referring to. Oh brother! I think it's harmless!

Nancy - will you go watch the parade? I have always wanted to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - guess I'll have to settle for watching it on TV.

Sandy, As a kid always watched on TV. Then moved to NYC after college...but always went home to NJ..and mom and sibs ..for t-Day. Then my mom died.went home but it was so depressing.every other Holiday there are other rituals.but Thanksgiving is all about sitting around the table with a Turkey! WE went to a restaurant but couldn't go to the better ones because they were Mom's favs and it would have been sad! So the next year we changed the tradition and started coming into the City welll sibs... I was already here!....going to Parade.then my place for wine and tidbits ,then a restaurant for dinner..usually French not because of my "prejudice" but because they were open, did a traditional turkey thing because it is their Xmas Holiday Eve thing, and didn't price gauge! A lot of places here started at a prix fixe of 65 or more for turkey! Now even more! Then a few years weather was bad, I lost my job.so parade has not been on the agenda. I put on table this year as weather is supposed to be good.but .... no takers....egg nog and the parade on TV.. Then. ..pre dinner here and then Bistro Le Steak for the Turkey Dinner! But...I highly recommend seeing it in person! Quite the thing...just a wonderful atmosphere..and I've been there in good weather, freezing cold and pouring rain! Still enjoyable!

Jody - I don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. We have enough holidays without it , but still, I always think of my American friends and family sitting around the table having a very festive Thanksgiving meal. However, I feel very thankful today because of the ceasefire that went into effect last night. Of course we can never be sure how long that'll last.
