This board sure gets quiet when so many members are traveling.
I'll be in Paris in October and want to shop for a wallet. I realized I bought the one I have last century.
I'll look in the major department stores. Any other ideas of where to shop? I don't have a specific designer in mind. Just looking for a simple design, preferably in a bright color.

Hi Janet, I'm not sure what your budget is, but I bought a Longchamps wallet at the Galleries Lafayette from the bargain bin in the Longchamps salon.
It still wasn't what I'd call inexpensive, but I absolutely love it and was doubly thrilled that it was in the bargain bin.

I don't really have a budget in mind. Since the one I have is probably 15 years old, if I find one I like I'll splurge a bit.

I think the name of the store where I bought my wallet on Avenue des Gobelins is Valery. I think it might be a chain but that didn't matter to me. They had great brightly coloured wallets unlike any I have seen here - can't wait to go back next year and get another one!

Love Longchamps...have 3 of the "convertable sac" ones in different sizes/colors and one red leather one that I use as my "neutral" travel purse..lots of compartments!
