Bonjour! Just arrived in Paris this afternoon and we are exhausted. A couple of passengers passed out on the plane and since we have the exit seats, they were being revived right in front of us!! They both recovered (what a relief!!!)
We are recuperating from the excitement after wandering the Buci/Saint Germain area. We're on rue Dauphine! The weather is fantastic!! Like all of you Paris lovers, there is that feeling of excitement and wonder! Will it ever change? I think not.....
Off to see a wonderful friend tomorrow for lunch. And getting ready to join the GIRLS at the Vendange on Saturday.
More to come!!!!

Sounds like quite an odd flight, Lilia! Glad it wasn't YOU lying on the floor being revived! Have a fun trip. Makes me smile just hearing you're there. (and Jo...you are leaving soon for Greece! Have a great time!)

Thank you all! ;D
Annette - oh yes, Tom is very thankful that wasn't me either! I have been very careful. I get to see Dr. DAniele Dubois who took care of me at Hopital Cochin. She is writing a paper for the French Medical Journal and will mention my case!
Off for a great Parisian day! A bientot!

What a wonderful day! hot (way over 30 degrees). Lots of wine was consumed.!! easy to open as they were screw top.
Led by our Roniece; Anne, Gitte, Sandy,Mez, Denise & Jane (the biking buddies), butterflyrfree, and moi from OPF, several of Roniece's friends including Michael and Eric (he was taking photos with his beautiful camera which I know will go on his blog.... then The Silver Fox arrived with the applause of everyone at the table - was he surprised at the reception!!!!
I eyed one of our members kissed the Maire of the 11th arrondissement who is such a dish that another one of OPF would move in the quarter!!!
lots and lots of pictures were taken and you will be treated to them from several members. Mark your calendars for next year!!!!

;D Lilia - The Vendange was obviously a perfect celebration this year for you OPF ladies. What a GTG you had! As you know, I would have loved to be there with you, and hearing about all your fun got me thinking about next year's Vendange...... so I enthusiastically checked the calendar, and much to my dismay, I saw that the 2nd Saturday in September is Yom Kippur , the holiest day in the Jewish religion. There's no way that I could attend a festival on such a sombre day. In any case, I didn't give up and checked out 2014, and that year looks very promising. I know.....it's 2 years away, but I will definitely keep it in mind.
