LOL! When my son visited the station around the corner from us, they told him about this exercise, and that if they could pull up onto the planche in full gear, they got to ride in the cab of the firetruck that day. We went to the Pompiers Ball over Bastille Day in 2010, it was fab! I plan to attend again this year - with my sister and 80 yr old mom!
