Happy Labo(u)r Day!
The muguets (Lily of the Valley) in my yard bloomed a bit earlier this year - just in time.
My Madeleine enjoys them too.

The little grocers don't have them with their sidewalk bouquets and at a florist..I bought a bunch many years ago...they are exorbitant!
We saw muguets all over Paris.....even bought a little bouquet from Red Cross people, to whom I was very happy to pay 3 euros. 
I love the smell of those tiny flowers......such a sweet fragrance.....and my last day in Paris (such a beautiful one, might I add 
) was spent doing a lot of strolling while smelling my muguets every time I stopped walking. At the airport, Shlomo and I were each given a little bouquet, which we decided to put in our hand luggage, hoping those little flowers would survive the trip home........ and they did !!! The first thing I did when I entered the house was place them in pretty little vases. ;D ;D ;D
