No Venice, Jody? Unfortunately, we have no plans for Paris but will be returning to Venice around October 21st for three months. Tell David seafood/fish is a specialty in Venice. ;D Would love to meet you there.

Great work Janet! Perhaps you can hire yourself out on OPF to cajole/convince other spouses who need a gentle nudge in the direction of travel. :-)
Jody, your trip sounds great. I was hoping you might be in London in Sept when I am but it seems not. C'est la vie! Perhaps another time.

You can't sneak a few days in Paris in there? ? You certainly don't let any grass grow under your feet...you only decided to go on Thurs and already have an itinerary! I remember when we had dinner David saying Italy was a fav for him...good for you both!

You must have space to sneak a FEW days in Paris in that itinerary.
Tell David not to worry about THE CAT, you only have a small part share of the CAT's house. They are quite independent and self sufficient, don't worry about food, it is perfectly capable of bringing in a few birds or mice to satisfy any hunger pangs. ;D ;D ;D

Glad I could be of help! He must have wanted to go all along though. I think I only said something like "Italy is great- you should go".
You're a quick planner! All sorted less than 48 hours after our visit. I'd still work on Paris- you've got plenty of time to use your powers of persuasion.
Mossie's right - the cat will be fine. Although I've left mine with my parents since Christmas. I was afraid she'd be lonely with all this travel I've got scheduled.
Sounds like a fantastic trip!
