Merry Christmas from me as well! Had a good day with friends and family. Brother in Law gave me a jigsaw puzzle of Monet's waterlilies and my best friend gave me a beautiful tile of a Paris cafe. Another friend texted me that his daughters gave him a ticket to see Bruce Springsteen in Paris on July 4.

My Paris obsession is well known among my friends and family. I'm so glad for this forum of kindred spirits!

Yes, I was too! I wondered if it was some special preparation/tradition I'd never heard of! Lol Well, we have arrived! As a Christmas gift, Air France generously upgraded us to business class at the gate! I don't know how we managed that, but I love Air France!

We've settled in, gotten some groceries, had filet au poirve at a local place (l'Ecurie), walked the entire length of rue Mouffetard to enjoy the lights, and are now off to bed!

Welcome to Paris Annette. Glad you have arrived safe. I boycotted AF for years after a bad experience but just started using them again this year through Flybe. Pleasantly surprised. All is forgiven LOL!
