To our Jewish members - As you know, tonight marks the beginning of our festive 8 day holiday. Wishing you all a wonderful week. Anyone celebrating this "holiday of lights" in our beloved "City of Light" ? ;D

The great thing about this holiday is that you have 8 days to decide which way you prefer to spell it. ;D ;D ;D

I'm planning on potato pancakes and jelly donuts at some point! (not together..sour cream and applesauce for the pps! )

We had the potato pancakes and homemade applesauce with roast brisket and onion gravy the other night. So i can say Happy Chanukah already!

There is *nothing* like a good latke; although I guess now that I think about it, I've never had a bad one . I have a lovely neighbor, Ruth, who makes the BEST latkes. She invites me over for them each year because I'm a great audience (I moan and smack my lips a lot )
