They're not going quite as far away as you are, Geordy, but plenty far enough! They're going to Des Moines! Job transfer, Rick is already there. Van misses Daddy terribly. The house they've rented is maybe 5 minutes from Sandy, so that gives me a little comfort I will be a frequent visitor to Iowa PS--Sandy, Rick's car battery died yesterday, and he *almost* called you...but he got it figured out Oh no, that's too bad - he sure could have called us as we were here and would have been glad to assist him - glad he got it worked out and be sure to tell him to feel free to call anytime! Can't wait to meet up with you when you come to Iowa to visit! But first, you have to get your trip to Paris!!!! Yay!

Good for you, Sister!!! You'll have fun shopping the sales and hopefully, Mr. Sister is going to be in the move to buy your dream apartment in Paris!
By the way, how is Loic doing? Guess you're not going to the Elysee for a wedding! Hope everything is alright with him.
bisous, Lilia

Annette,
I feel that pain! I would be too if my two framboisettes leave town. As it is, Christmas will be lonely with the four of them spending it in London with Jane's family!
Guess, we'll have to make do with just the three of us here in SF.
Enjoy your trip. Paris is so mild up to now and the dollar is a little bit stronger.
bisous, Lilia

thanks Lila! I have such fond memories of last year and our lovely lunch with you, overlooking the SF Bay! wow!
I hope that MY apartment overlooking the canal will convince the Mr Sister that an apartment in Paris is in our future. Will try to enlist Loic in the effort. Alas, a trip to the Palais seems a remote dream, but mon cher ami is happy and still in the relationship so what can I say? There's always hope!!! ;D

Hi, Sis! I know that feeling of PPD! I just keep looking at my pictures and look at the remaining chocolates. Tom tells me not to plan any trip until we pay for this one! What a killer of joy (LOL)!!!! Doesn't he know that when the last morcel of goodie is gone, I'll be on the Air France website? Was just thinking about you - just made reservations at The Waterbar for this Friday. I'll drink a glass of champers in your honor! bisous, Lilia
