No not me to the bin...but I did bite the bullet aka bought S/O's Christmas present .....and will arrive in Paris on Feb 13-21! A/F...fare too high..but lower than recently....cheaper from Newark on American(and Iberia, Luftansa, United, British Air etc. all operated by American but not great times and with filing bankruptcy..who knows? And I don't want to be wandering Paris in Feb early in the AM because the room isn't ready ......getting older and crotchety! With the Holidays fast approaching I just needed it to be done..now the rest of it! And I will not, repeat NOT.......Happy.....keep checking fares!!

That's my kind of gift giving--one that benefits the giver, too! Woohoo!

That's my kind of gift giving--one that benefits the giver, too! Woohoo! Not being "big headed" he's been bugging me about committing to the dates...and I've been worrying about work, this and that...but none of us are getting any younger! So if the world turns upside down..which it has done before...you still have to go to Paris..n'est pas? And then..they always say.."Give of yourself!"

I am so happy for you geordy. We just got word that a co-worker passed away earlier in the week. He was only 55 yrs old. Life is just too short.

Well done, Geordy! How cool to be in Paris with your sweetheart on Valentine's Day.
Yup, life is too short not to go to Paris.

Yeah! That's great news. And yes, do not bother looking at airfares any longer. You now have more important things to do including creating an itinerary.

I wasn't sure what to expect with a post titled Committed. Glad to know it's about another trip.
And over Valentine's Day at that! Now the fun part - planning and anticipation. Especially when you're meeting your S/O.
