Hi guys,

Just to let you know that we have a new grand daughter, born at 2.45pm to our son, Andrew and his wife Bhumi.

The new arrival is called Syah Madelyn Leitch and weighed in at 8lbs even. (for those not on metric) Mother, Daughter, Dad and Grandparents all well including Granddad who is somewhat under the influence of red wine and champers.

Seriously. Grandparenting is the best thing in the world. You can indulge them all you want then hand them back at the end of the day......my grandchildren behave much better for me than for their parents. None of the angst, just all of the fun! Very special.
