Anyone been? Know anyone who has? I just read they are taking reservations for a branch opening in Mid-town in December.

Figure I'd rather take a spill or spill on myself on home turf than in Paris!

You meet your (blind) waiter and place your order in the lit bar..then proceed to the table in the dark dining room...after giving up flashlights, phones(?), and anything else with lighting ability!

My daughter has been to the one in Montreal twice and really enjoyed it both times.

As for me, sounds like a gimmick ~ I like to see my food, it's part of the whole experience. Plus, I can't get past the idea of groping around your plate and trying to get the food in your mouth.

I think they should have an apéritif version with celery and carrot sticks and cheese bits and wine so we can see how we deal with being in the dark.
