Well, my countdown is finally down to zero!! ;D

We leave tonight and fly to Paris for a 4 hour layover, then it's on to Greece for 2 weeks and back in the City of Light for 1 week.

This trip has been highly anticipated since it's our first time to Greece ~ there was a little bit of panic earlier this week when it was announced there might be an air traffic controllers' strike in Athens the day we landed, but it's been called off. Hoorah!!

We might still have to contend with other strikes and demonstrations while we are there, but we'll deal with it one day at a time.

I've switched blogs, here's my new site:

I'll try to blog as much as I can......not sure about internet access in our various hotels in Greece (and how much I will be able to tear myself away from the glorious beaches and the cold white wine, lol)

Sorry I haven't popped in here in a while. We are having a wonderful time in Greece (I think I now have another lover besides Paris) and as anyone who is my friend on Facebook knows, I've been posting pictures like crazy ~ it's just all so beautiful.

Lots of pictures on the blog if anyone's interested. We have another week in Greece and then on to Paris next Sunday.
