OK guys, In my never-ending search for the ultimate Paris bistro dining expereince , I came across a glowing review of a place called M Comme Martine (it was in Bonjour Paris by a guy whose reviews I've seen on eGullet). Anyway, he said it was good - have you heard of it?

I haven't heard of it, so I checked it out online to find that it's in the "chic" part of the 17th near place Wagram--not at all our digs. However, I'd heartily recommend Le Bistral on rue Lemercier if you'd like an experience cooked by a disciple of Arpège's Alain Passard.

T - I'm overwhelmed with choice at the moment! I'm (we're) looking for: non-fussy yet really yummy and tasty "traditional" French bistro fare, few tourists, nice atmosphere. Here's what we have so far: Josephine Chez Dumonet (tentative) La Lozere - it's in the 6th, they have an aligot "feast" on thursday nights... Le Reminet - close to our apartment, open sunday, I want to go back. Aux Trois Petits Cochons - hmmm, recommended by some people we "know" OK, I still have a few nights to fill, and I was looking for some variety in terms of location and area, given the above parameters. So, there you go!! Any additional ideas??
