Oh wow, I can't believe (actually I can) there is an entire thread devoted to Speculoos/Biscoff! I discovered Speculoos on my last (for a while) trip this past January when it was served with my dessert. Bought Biscoff online and then recently learned that they are sold locally at Fresh n'Easy and Cost Plus World Market at a cheaper price. However, as far as I can tell, you can only buy the crunchy version online. Crunchy version is by far SUPERIOR to the creamy!!! During my last few weeks of pregnancy, my daily breakfast consisted of crunchy biscoff spread on belgian waffles, yummm.

I just found the Biscoff cookies at the Local Whole Foods. I bought a few packages and am happy to report that they're wonderful! Of course, as soon as I bit into one, I realized that I'd enjoyed them often on overseas flights. On the front of the package it even says "The Airline Biscuit"...or something similar. I gave packages to a few friends to enjoy, and they all reported back that they were a hit. Woohoo! (Like I need to discover *more* fattening treats! )

Happy that is one reason, probably the only reason, I like Delta. That is the cookie they serve on all their flights!!

Jody, that's probably where I've had them then. I didn't know that about Delta. Anyway, good cookies!

Message to all Ontarians.
Speculoos spread has been located in Whitby Ontario. My own wee town has a Dutch store that stocks Speculoos but only in the smooth version and at a cost of $7.70. So, if any one is passing through Whitby on their way to Pearson airport let me know and I will pass on directions to the shop.
