Is it true Mez that there has been a "request" to the government for a national holiday in Australia? Sounds like something the kind of thing we would ask for here in Canada

I thought he did such a great job and did think he would not get there even though I think he more than deserves it.

I did not know until the later interviews that his old and long-time coach died in December. Such a shame!

Geordy - it's on live here on the Versus channel. I just get the basic cable package with Time Warner.

I was in Paris one of the years Greg LeMond won. Saw him cross the finish line - very exciting. It was a strange experience to hear the Star Spangled Banner playing on the Champs Elysees.
